Remark Media is looking for a versatile social media manager to assist with social media across for our brand portfolio ranging from fashion, to personal finance, to hysterical YouTube videos. We’re looking for a Jack (or Jane) of all trades to create super viral content, creative messaging for (sometimes dry) projects and an analytical mind to determine success.
Job requirements include: an active Facebook account, ability to show your wins, a digital portfolio recommended, the understanding that edgerank is something that will never happen, the ability to spot grammatical and spelling errors from across the room.

Content Manager

We are seeking a Content Manager for our financial websites including (Banks.com, IRS.com, FileLater.com, TaxExtension.com.

About the job:

  • Create and produce quality personal finance and tax-related content.
  • Identify and research trending/important financial topics.
  • Seek, engage, and manage content contributors (e.g., freelance writers) and other sources of financial content
  • Copyedit digital content to ensure overall accuracy and consistency
  • Create and execute multi-platform content strategies
  • Ensure content reflects the tone, style and branding message of our clients and users.
  • Support other content creators through collaboration on story ideas, copyediting, and proofreading digital content
  • Successfully employ SEO best practices to drive traffic to content and knowledge of effective user experience in interactive products.
  • Review website analytics and providing recommendations to enhance content performance and traffic

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in editorial and content development, preferably with a financial, business and/or tax focus.
  • Engaging writing style
  • Must be able to multitask and perform well under tight deadlines
  • Must be familiar with web content best practices, including SEO, HTML and uploading content to a CMS
  • Excellent attention to detail

Manager of Enterprise Solutions 

We are seeking a Manager of Enterprise Solutions to be responsible for the design and development of reporting and analytic solutions, utilizing the Microsoft BI suite of tools and the Dynamics AX business platform.

Job responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Dynamics AX and Bi360 subject matter expert managing the following:
  • Role month end and annual periods forward (manage close process)
  • Uploading of budgets and annual plans
  • Setting up new companies
  • Maintaining and editing chart of accounts
  • Implementing new modules as needed
  • Troubleshooting problems
  • Data integration between AX and BI-360
  • Guide the advancement and maintenance of the enterprise solutions ensuring that they can support the company’s growth and business needs.
  • Manage implementations and escalated support activities from initial report and documentation through resolution.
  • Identify, recreate, research, and resolve product issues; document knowledge gained.
  • Test the latest product updates from Microsoft and report issues to management.
  • Demonstrate product functions and features to internal and external customers.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional, communication and timely follow up.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Accounting or a related field
  • 5 years of hands-on experience implementing and customizing products within the MS Dynamics ERP family
  • 2 years of experience in a technical support role supporting web based applications via telephone, email, and chat.
  • Experience in the following areas:  Working with and employing code level knowledge of Microsoft AX; writing and implementing third party integrations to AX.
  • Ability to understand, communicate, interpret client business processes and requirements.
  • Ability to work in teams, manage projects and multitask
  • Attention to detail, strong planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills including initial contact through problem resolution
