Develop an online complement to Discovery's TV series that presents leading experts' knowledge on topics that peak viewers' curiosity.
solution
We created a compelling website that seamlessly integrates Discovery's television series topics and experts with online answers to life's curiosities. We developed intuitive publishing tools that allow Q&As to be easily created, organized within a hierarchy of life's subject matter, and promoted across the site. We added social media tools to engage consumers with the site's Q&Amp;As, video, quizzes, images and experts.
Daily Strength
challenge
Daily Strength's social network for people facing health challenges was experiencing frequent downtime due to rapid traffic growth, and user experience with the site was negatively affected.
solution
Our technology team reviewed Daily Strength's information systems and re-engineered their site's architecture to optimize its performance for scaling, caching and ad serving.
The task was completed in a short three months without impacting site features. The site now handles continued growth in traffic while maintaining 99.99% uptime.
Suunto iPhone App
challenge
Suunto approached us with a unique opportunity to create a product definition for an iPhone app that would leverage users' tracked data from Suunto's performance training devices and software, to allow users to make decisions about and adjust their training regiment.
solution
We developed functional specifications and visual design to define an iPhone app that satisfied our client's business objectives. The product would sync with Suunto's watches, foot and GPS PODs, and monitoring belts worn by users during fitness training, to utilize captured heart rate, calorie consumption, speed, cadence, respiration rate, and other performance data. With intuitive navigation through the product's six screens users would be able to use the data to set exercise goals, track activity progress and compare fitness results over time. The product would enable users to tailor their use of Suunto's training devices to meet their fitness objectives.
